New Kitchens are able to supply you with a vast range of work surfaces to cater for every taste, budget and application.

Often overlooked or left as an after thought, kitchen worktops perform perhaps one of the most important functions in the modern kitchen and certainly have to deal with some of the toughest wear. Consider the beauty of natural stone such as granite, the seamless joints of Corian, functionality of quartz stone, versatility of modern laminates or the texture and richness of solid timbers. Cost and performance can be weighed up to reach the ideal solution.

Your designer kitchen worktop will regularly come into contact with potentially damaging substances – water, fats, juices, oils, hot pots and pans, as well as knives and other utensils. Therefore, a key factor when selecting your worktop is the purpose which it will serve, and consideration must be given to its size, strength, durability and after care requirements.

We can supply worktops manufactured from a variety of materials including laminate, solid timber, natural granite, manmade stone, Corian, glass, and stainless steel. Worktops can be supplied in different thicknesses in all types of finish, there are extensive colour ranges to choose from, and back panels and upstands are also available.

Corian

Invented and produced by DuPont, Corian is a solid surface offering superior design possibilities and excellent long-term performance, used both in the home and in many different commercial environments, from hotels to healthcare, retail to marine. With its balance of beauty and performance, Corian lends itself to imaginative uses, innovative designs and enduring applications. If you can imagine it, you can probably create it with Corian. Available in over 100 colours, Corian can be carved, routed or worked like wood, moulded, thermoformed or inlayed… the design options are almost limitless. Website www.corian.co.uk

Silestone

Silestone is a compound made up of 94% natural quartz, which make it extraordinarily hard and resilient. This is the one and only worktop make of quartz with anti-bacterial protection, giving it hygienic properties that are not to be found anywhere else on the market. Granite

The granite we use is sourced all over the world. The well-established relationships we have with our suppliers ensures that the quality of the stone we import is of the highest standard.

Laminates

Laminated worktop can be supplied in various thicknesses from 16mm to 100mm to give stunning visual results. With lengths of up to 5m being available, along with mitred joints, PVC edging, new textures and patterns, laminate worktops are no longer the poor relation of the worktop world.

Sinks and Taps

At New Kitchens we offer a selected range of sinks from Franke and Blanco. When advising on the right sink for you, our design team will also consider your preferred work surface material, kitchen layout and design, and style preferences.

Our ranges include both under and over-mounted units, stainless steel, ceramic and composite, space saving solutions such as corner and inset sinks, and flush mounted sinks into laminate worktops.

We can also advise on the different styles of taps available and additional options of filter taps, water softeners, waste disposal units and the latest 'instant hot water' including the Quooker.
